Mitsubishi have released a recall relating to light/indicator switch PCB for EVO IX
Mitsubishi have released a recall relating to the light/indicator switch PCB (Printed Circuit Board) on the Lancer Evolution IX (9). 1,060 vehicles were officially imported to the UK by The Colt Car Company Limited. We do not, however, have details of grey or personal imports and therefore there may be further vehicles affected in the UK, with 8,490 vehicles affected globally.
Below is the letter being sent to all Evo 9 owners that CCC have records for - BUT if you have an import please contact your local Mitsubishi dealer who will complete a recall contact form and send to CCC. They will check the VIN number to confirm the vehicle is affected, and confirm the correct part number for the dealer to order (2 possibilities-with or without the auto light function) and authorise the repair.
If you have a UK Car please do not contact your dealer immediately - the letter is being posted to you on the 25th July.
